As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver - Government in Lillington, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer at a government location, you will be responsible for conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. This role requires carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle, as a valid driver's license is required. You will provide exceptional customer service and maintain clear communication with staff and visitors. Pay Rate : $21.00 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Carry out armed patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and / or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate security-related protocols.
  • Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry or activities within the location.
  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by addressing inquiries and assisting with site-related procedures.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and any unusual activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate, following established procedures for the location.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related risks and promote a secure environment.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
