Med Tele / Ortho - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift : 6 : 30 PM - 7 : 00 AM

Experience :

• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience within the past 4 years.
• Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements :

50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Previous Employment Requirements : Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and / or Dignity.

Required Skills / Experience : RNs should have some tele awareness.

Required Credentials : No license or background hits. Annual Skills Checklist is required for submission and can't expire during the expected contract dates.

Preferred Credentials : Pass / Fail exam on Friday during orientation. Open book exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated.

Procedures / Diagnostics / Treatments Performed on Unit : MedSurg / Tele- joint replacements, fractures, colon resections, COPD exacerbation, prostatectomy, cellulitis, sepsis, ortho trauma, GI bleeds, pneumonia, failure to thrive

Unit / Facility Details : 55 beds

Special Requests : Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.

Shift & Scheduling :

Floating Requirements : To other medical surgical areas or units with MedSurg patients waiting for a MedSurg bed.

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays : 01 / 01 / 2025, 11 / 27 / 2025, 12 / 25 / 2025. Number of holidays allowed off : 1. Start assignment restriction : 14 days

1 reference from last 12 months (Charge / Lead reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 3 years (Manager / Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

Driver's license required for submission
