Safety Manager – Data Center Construction (Short-Term Coverage)

Location : Kirkland, WA

Compensation : $45.00–$50.00 / hour (local preferred; per diem available for travelers)

Employment Type : Full-Time | Immediate Start | 2–3 Week Coverage

Position Summary

SAVI EHS is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to provide short-term site coverage at a high-profile data center construction project in Kirkland, Washington. This position is ideal for a proactive safety professional capable of stepping in quickly to maintain compliance, oversee site activities, and ensure ongoing alignment with client safety expectations.

The selected candidate will work closely with project leadership and trade partners to sustain strong Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) performance during this coverage period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain site-wide compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Conduct and document daily safety inspections, audits, and toolbox talks.
  • Support coordination of crane, rigging, and equipment operations.
  • Facilitate daily safety meetings and ensure all personnel are briefed on site-specific hazards.
  • Oversee incident reporting, investigations, and corrective action tracking.
  • Collaborate with the client’s project and EHS teams to ensure continuity in site operations.
  • Provide short-term leadership to maintain engagement and reinforce a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of construction safety experience (data center experience preferred).
  • OSHA 30 and OSHA 510 required; OSHA 500, CHST, CSP, or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to ongoing site conditions.
