Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Disability Assessment Role

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in conducting medical assessments for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

In this important role, you will review medical records electronically through a secure web portal and perform focused, in-person physical exams on Veterans.

Your responsibilities will include documenting exam findings electronically as required by the VA. Please note that while you will be interacting directly with Veterans, you will NOT be involved in making disability determinations, which are exclusively handled by the United States Veterans Administration.

This position exclusively focuses on Disability Assessments, meaning that you will not provide treatment or prescribe medications.

The schedule for this part-time position is set for Wednesdays from 9 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM, and all work will be performed in a clinical setting.

Key Attributes :

• Interest in performing Independent Medical Assessments.
• Aptitude for analyzing medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions.
• Strong time management skills, with the ability to remain focused and meet requirements.
• Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
• Proficient computer skills.
