Position Description

ENSCO, Inc. is seeking a Travel Technician to join our team for railroad track inspection operations. This role involves the use of measurement tools, electronics troubleshooting, and computer operation. Key responsibilities include interpreting railroad documents to derive train speed information, reviewing and analyzing track measurement data for reporting, and operating hi-rail commercial motor vehicles. Additionally, the position involves some vehicle maintenance for rail survey cars and hi-rail vehicles, along with regular housekeeping duties for safety and sanitation aboard government-owned survey vehicles.

• Travel :

Work schedule includes 3 weeks of continuous travel followed by 1 week off.

While the permanent site is in Pennsylvania, candidates can live anywhere in the continental U.S. due to the extensive travel required.

Earn more than a regular 40-hour work schedule due to extended hours and overtime.

Qualifications Required (Skills) : Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in the electrical, electromechanical, or mechanical field involving troubleshooting and problem resolution, or a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with 1 year of experience.
