Direct Counsel is seeking a Midlevel IP Associate to join the Patent Litigation Group of a prestigious Am Law 100 firm. This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge cases involving a variety of technical fields, including biology, chemistry, physical sciences, and engineering. Candidates may sit in either New York, Washington, D.C., San Francisco or Chicago.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate on complex patent litigation cases across a range of industries
  • Develop strategies and provide legal counsel for high-stakes intellectual property matters
  • Leverage technical knowledge to navigate cases related to sciences and engineering

Key Qualifications :

  • Midlevel associate with prior patent litigation experience in a law firm setting
  • A technical degree in biology, chemistry, physical sciences, engineering, or related fields is preferred
  • Outstanding academic credentials and superior written and oral communication skills
  • Admission to practice law and good standing in New York or Washington, D.C.

    • Compensation :

    The salary range for this position is $310,000 to $390,000 annually, with actual compensation determined based on experience and other relevant factors.
