Senior Automation Engineer – Medical Device Manufacturing
Location : Buffalo Grove, IL (onsite)
Compensation : Up to $165K + 5% bonus (Relocation available)

What You'll Do
Lead automation engineering initiatives across the Buffalo Grove and Libertyville facilities, with occasional travel to the Austin HQ.Oversee projects with OEM partners for new equipment and integration into production.Drive process improvements and redesign efforts for existing automation equipment.Collaborate with Electrical Engineering and cross-functional teams to optimize production systems.Design, specify, and maintain automation machinery, tooling, and applications.Provide subject matter expertise on mechanical automation solutions, ensuring reliability, compliance, and scalability.What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar).8+ years of automation engineering experience in highly regulated industries (medical devices).Strong background in equipment design, implementation, and continuous improvement.Hands-on experience with CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Creo.Proven ability to lead projects, interface with OEMs, and act as a corporate-level technical advisor.Bonus : Experience in medical device / disposable manufacturing, drug handling automation, or high-speed automation systems.Why Join Us?
