The schedule for this position after orientation and training is 4pm-12am. The orientation and training will be during the day, 8am-5pm and will last approximately 4-6 weeks.

Provides direct oversight of the Resource Management Centers schedulers and staffing coordinators. Ensures department compliance to staffing, scheduling and timekeeping policies and protocols. Assists Director in scheduling and staffing efficiency initiatives. Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in MLH Mission, Vision and Values.

A Brief Overview

What you will do

• Collaborates with facility leadership and frontline associates to ensure associate schedules are published and updated according to department requirements.
• Promotes effective communication concerning all scheduling, staffing and payroll applications.
• Ensures scheduling and payroll related activities are performed consistently and in a timely manner.
• Demonstrates successful partnerships with facility leaders and frontline associates to balance unplanned schedule changes.
• Leads daily staffing plans for all areas of coverage responsibilities.
• Provides timekeeping oversight while ensuring compliance to scheduling guidelines and pay rules.
• Ensures schedule and staffing department deadlines are met.
• Leads daily shift huddles promoting clear direction and effective communication with team members.
• Coaches and mentors associates while ensuring consistent, unbiased support.
• Gathers, prepares and continuously updates schedule, staffing and timekeeping data.
• Generates staffing reports at the request of leader.
• Assists Director in special projects.
• Fulfills job responsibilities of schedulers and staffing coordinators in their absence.
• Performs other job functions as assigned.
