Salary :
The Clinical Director of Renewed Vision Counseling and Developmental Disability Center, PC is responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of the practice, ensuring high-quality patient care, and promoting best practices in mental health treatment. This role combines leadership, clinical expertise, and administrative functions to guide and support the clinical team, manage client care protocols, and uphold ethical and regulatory standards. The Clinical Director will also be instrumental in shaping the practices clinical vision, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices, and facilitating professional development for all clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities :
Clinical Oversight and Quality Assurance
- Ensure the highest standards of client care and safety by establishing, implementing, and monitoring clinical protocols, treatment plans, and policies.
- Regularly review clinical practices to maintain compliance with licensing requirements, legal regulations, and industry standards.
- Conduct or delegate regular case reviews, audits, and quality assurance checks to ensure consistent service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain evidence-based clinical guidelines, assessing their effectiveness and relevance based on client outcomes.
Leadership and Supervision
Provide direct supervision to clinical staff, including Licensed Mental Health Practitioners, therapists, and interns, offering guidance on complex cases, clinical approaches, and client management.Facilitate weekly clinical team meetings, creating a collaborative environment where case discussions, problem-solving, and peer support are encouraged.Identify training needs, develop staff skills, and promote continuing education opportunities to enhance clinical expertise.Conduct performance evaluations for clinical staff, setting goals, providing constructive feedback, and implementing improvement plans as needed.Program Development and Implementation
Design and implement innovative programs and services to meet community needs and expand the practices offerings, such as group therapy, specialized interventions, or workshops.Stay current with mental health trends and emerging treatments, integrating new modalities that align with the practices philosophy and objectives.Collaborate with leadership to establish metrics for evaluating program effectiveness, tracking outcomes, and making adjustments based on client and staff feedback.Client and Case Management
Oversee the assignment of new clients to appropriate therapists, considering each clients needs, therapist expertise, and availability.Act as the clinical escalation point for high-risk cases, providing direct guidance on interventions and crisis management protocols.Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all clinical activities, following HIPAA regulations and professional confidentiality standards.Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure compliance with all relevant state licensing requirements, HIPAA regulations, and ethical standards as defined by professional boards (e.g., APA, ACA).Develop and implement risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks to clients, staff, and the organization.Serve as the point of contact for all clinical audits, licensure inspections, and quality assurance reviews, coordinating necessary preparations and responses.Professional Development and Training
Create a culture of continuous learning, providing opportunities for professional development, including CEUs, workshops, and in-service training sessions.Develop onboarding and orientation programs for new clinicians, ensuring they are fully trained on practice protocols, therapeutic modalities, and documentation standards.Mentor staff toward licensure, encouraging and supporting their journey toward full professional certification.Community Outreach and Partnerships
Represent the practice at community events, professional conferences, and networking opportunities, fostering partnerships with local organizations.Develop referral relationships with hospitals, schools, social services, and other community resources to support clients with a continuum of care.Coordinate public education efforts, including workshops, seminars, and community presentations, to raise awareness about mental health services and reduce stigma.Administrative and Financial Responsibilities
Collaborate with the executive team to create and manage the clinical departments budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.Monitor clinical billing and coding practices to ensure accuracy and compliance with insurance requirements, helping maximize revenue and reduce claim denials.Assist in setting productivity goals, tracking staff caseloads, and implementing scheduling practices to optimize therapist availability and client access.Qualifications :
Education and Experience
Licensure : Licensed as a Clinical Psychologist, LMHP, LCSW, or equivalent in the state of Nebraska.Experience : Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role in a counseling or mental health setting.Specialized Skills : Proven expertise in areas such as family therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse treatment is preferred.Key Competencies
