Requirements :

  • 1 year of OTA experience
  • LTC or Rehab experience
  • COTA MO State License or Compact

    • Responsibilities :

  • Applies evidence-based practices to support interventions.
  • Provides skilled, medically necessary treatment under OT supervision.
  • Administers ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and use of assistive devices.
  • Monitors patient progress, communicates with OT, and adjusts treatments.
  • Reports treatment outcomes to supervising OT.
  • Offers consultation to patients, families, caregivers, and providers.
  • Communicates progress, barriers, and plans with the care team.
  • Contributes to discharge summaries per requirements.
  • Maintains accurate electronic documentation and patient records.
  • Records treatment minutes in compliance with regulations.
  • Participates in patient care meetings and reviews.
  • Attends mandatory trainings, in-services, and conferences.
  • Assists OT in obtaining necessary equipment and supplies.
  • Supervises and supports students under OT guidance.
  • Adheres to NBCOT / AOTA standards, ethics, and state practice acts.
  • Maintains active state licensure / registration as required.
