Accounts Payable Clerk

Shift / Hours : Monday Friday, 8am to 5pm

Pay Rate : $17 / hr

Location : Alvin, TX

Experience : 1-3 years experience in an Accounts Payable role

We are excited to share a new opportunity! We are searching for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Alvin, Texas! The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable professional proficient in QuickBooks or other accounting systems, Excel, and MS Word. The candidate will be responsible for efficiently processing invoices, checks, and vendor statements for multiple entities while managing confidential information and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities :

• Verify approval on all invoices and check request
• Coding invoices
• Able to prepare and process checks for multi companies
• Update and maintain vendor database
• Reconciles vendor statements
• Ability to process and follow-up on rush items
• Maintains account payable files
• Special projects as assigned
