Construction Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead exciting ground-up construction projects, including schools and multi-family developments. This role involves overseeing commercial construction projects valued at $50 million and above, located throughout Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise all aspects of ground-up construction projects.
  • Coordinate with project managers and assistant project managers to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including subcontractors and vendors, to maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and address any construction challenges promptly.

Essential Skills

  • 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent at a commercial general contractor.
  • 5+ years of commercial construction experience with a focus on ground-up projects.
  • Proven track record of managing large base-build projects, particularly schools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction (AEC).

    • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience working with DGS (Department of General Services).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Permanent position based out of Washington, District of Columbia.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $125000.00 / yr.
