Refractory Supervisor

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Refractory Supervisor to join their team. As a Refractory Supervisor, you will be part of the Melt Shop Department supporting the refractory crew. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : Refractory Supervisor

Location : Vidor, Texas

Pay Range : $95,000 - $110,000

What's the Job?

• Supervise and direct refractory personnel engaged in installing, repairing, and maintaining refractory equipment and materials.
• Oversee the relining of electric arc furnaces, ladles, and tundishes, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
• Manage inventory control, ordering necessary refractory materials, and maintaining accurate records of usage and supplies.
• Coordinate efforts with maintenance and production teams to optimize refractory operations and minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and promote a culture of safety within the team.
