Travel Nursing Job Details Job Title : Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) – Travel Assignment Location : Hickory, NC 28601 Healthcare Setting : Operating Room (13 beds) Assignment Length : 13 weeks Start Date : November 10, 2025 End Date : February 9, 2026 Shift : 06 : 45 AM – 5 : 15 PM, 4x10 hour shifts per week Call Requirements : 7 days per month (including some weekends) Patient Ratio : 1 : 1 Electronic Health Record : Cerner Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (ADN or BSN required) Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience Experience with advanced surgical technology : robotics (DaVinci), Mako, Holmium Laser, and Hana table preferred Ability to take scheduled call (7 days / month, including weekends) Experience with adult and minimal pediatric (outpatient) populations Travel nurses must reside 60 miles from the facility to qualify OR RN Responsibilities Deliver safe and effective perioperative nursing care to surgical patients Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists for optimal patient outcomes Operate and troubleshoot advanced surgical equipment, including robotics and lasers Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Cerner EHR Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training Adhere to hospital policies, including dress code (scrubs provided via hospital scrub machine) Take your next step in travel nursing and enjoy the charm of Hickory, NC, while making a difference in surgical patient care.
