Job Description\n

American Traveler seeks an experienced Physical Therapist for an outpatient setting, requiring an active IL license and strong evaluation and rehabilitation skills.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in an outpatient physical therapy clinic
  • Typical shift is Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM
  • Treat a variety of physical therapy patients referred by physicians or via direct access
  • Utilize modalities and exercise equipment available in the facility
  • Perform post-offer testing, Work Hardening Evaluations, and ergonomic assessments as needed
  • Responsibilities include patient evaluation, treatment, communication with physicians and rehab nurses, and supervision of support staff
  • Involvement in business development, marketing, and community events may be required based on workload
  • Competence in billing procedures for various payer types is expected
  • Professionalism towards patients, colleagues, and industry partners is essential
  • Support for first-time travelers is not specified

  • Active IL Physical Therapist license required if applicable
  • Proven experience in outpatient physical therapy
  • Competence in evaluating and developing therapy plans for a diverse patient population
  • Ability to supervise physical therapy assistants and technicians
