Job Summary
Help protect H-E-B resources - people and physical assets - in stores and on other properties. Monitor, analyze and track security activities from the Security Operations Center (SOC).
Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions :
- Processes and prioritizes emergency and non-emergency calls; determines the severity of situations and actions needed.
- Applies knowledge of access control system and updates alarm pass codes for each location.
- Proficiently uses video equipment to verify alarms and applies skilled knowledge to video management systems configuration.
- Facilitates emergency action plans and disaster management protocol.
- Maintains a health check of all fire, intrusion, camera, and access control systems to include ticketing and follow-up.
- Monitors by video all entry and exit points for pedestrian and vehicle traffic on properties and facilities owned and operated by H-E-B.
- Maintains constant contact with Security Partners and relevant law enforcement authorities during critical responses.
- Performs related administrative duties such as maintaining logbooks and other record-keeping of location incidents.
Qualifications & Key Requirements :
Intermediate support individual contributor position performing administrative or specialized tasks in support of daily business activities. Works under moderate supervision on mostly routine tasks but may deviate from or interpret standard procedures based on knowledge gained through learned experience. High school, vocational, or associate's degree. 2+ years of experience generally expected.
