Senior Industrial Designer

Job Type : Full-time, onsite in the Dallas, TX area, $75K-$85K

About the Opportunity :

We're seeking a talented Senior Industrial Designer to join a dynamic product development team. This role requires a passion for enhancing people's lives through product design and a hands-on approach to bringing innovative ideas to life.

Responsibilities :

  • Product Design : Design products from concept to mass production, ensuring high standards of safety and quality.
  • Collaboration : Work with cross-functional teams, including junior designers, to shape product strategy and vision.
  • Prototyping : Develop prototypes using various methods, including 3D printing and working with fabrication teams.
  • Supplier Management : Work with offshore suppliers to bring products to mass production.
  • Market Research : Conduct market research and analyze consumer trends to inform product design.

Requirements :

  • Education : Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Design or a recognized equivalent.
  • Experience : Minimum 4-6 years of experience in a similar role designing quality consumer products.

    • Skills :

  • Advanced-level SolidWorks CAD skills.
  • Experience in design for manufacture, including plastic component design, steel fabrication, and textile development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously.

    • What We're Looking For :

  • An innovative thinker who can push boundaries and bring new ideas to the table.
  • A designer with a modernist approach, demonstrating intuitive understanding of balance, line, proportion, color, and finish.
  • Someone willing to travel overseas as required by the role.

    • This is a full-time position, onsite in the Dallas, TX area; remote work is not an option for this opportunity. Salary : $75K-$85K.
