Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Telemetry / Med-Surg Location : Gainesville, FL

Shift : 12-Hour Variable Shifts (Days or Nights; Rotating Weekends)

Employment Type : Permanent

Key Responsibilities :

Assess patients upon admission and throughout each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in condition.

Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic responses, and address any adverse reactions appropriately.

Perform procedures and monitor patient status as ordered by the healthcare provider, documenting all care accurately in the medical record.

Educate patients, families, and caregivers on diagnoses, treatment plans, and medications, ensuring complete understanding.

Provide compassionate, responsive care by anticipating patient needs and addressing them promptly.

Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to promote patient safety, optimal recovery, and a positive patient experience.

Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards.

Qualifications :

Education : Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (RN Diploma or higher).

Licensure : Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Florida or Compact License.

Experience : Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience (within the last 4 years).

Certifications : BLS (Basic Life Support) – required within 30 days of hire.

ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – required within 90 days of hire.

Schedule Details :

Full-Time | 36 hours per week.

Shift Options : Days or Nights (rotating weekends required).

Opportunity for overtime and additional shifts as needed.
