Staff Today is seeking a local contract nurse RN Maternal - Newborn for a local contract nursing job in Tacoma, Washington.

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Registered Nurse - Maternal Child to work at a Facility in Tacoma, WA. These are registry positions with our company.

Pay Rate : $60 / hour

  • W2 QUALIFICATIONS :
  • Education : Associate's degree in nursing (ASN)
  • Work Experience : One Year of Experience in Nursing
  • License : Current unrestricted RN license in one of the 50 US States and / or territories.
  • Certifications :
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) AHA or ARC issued
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Provider-Advanced (NRP)
  • Fetal monitoring Certification
  • Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood pressure, Lab work, and Emotional support (STABLE)
  • US Citizen
  • NACI background check

    • RESPONSIBILTIES :

  • Provide comprehensive professional nursing care to postpartum mothers and neonates. Experience caring for postoperative patients.
  • Obtains patient history, and pertinent family history, and advanced medical directive information. Observes, assesses, and records symptoms, reactions, and progress assist physicians during treatments and examinations; administers medication and prescribed treatments, completes admissions and

    • discharges, and promote convalescence and rehabilitation.

  • Manages care of patients for a wide range of procedures of an advanced nature and difficulty where there is a high risk for infection and bodily functions arc mechanically assisted by life support equipment.
  • Knowledge of the transitional care of neonates is required.
  • HCW's will be required to float within similar specialties

    • 1 Year of experience required
