• Minimum of 2 years of experience in telemetry nursing.
• Experience with cardiac telemetry and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
• Skills in managing feeding tubes, hemodialysis, renal failure, and various intravenous access methods.
• Ability to administer blood products and manage central and peripheral lines.
• Proficient in telemetry remote monitoring and cardiac drips without titration.
• Experience with CPAP / BiPAP and oxygen administration.
• Knowledge in isolation precautions and wound care.

Description :

Registered Nurse specializing in telemetry is needed for a 13-week assignment.

The position requires a night shift of 12 hours.

Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of telemetry nursing experience.

1 : 6 patient ratios are expected on this unit.

The unit consists of 36 beds.

Floating to units of equal or lesser acuity is required.

Weekend shifts are part of the contract with a schedule of half weekends.

The RN will be responsible for assessing patients and managing care for those with cardiac conditions.

Skills in monitoring and interpreting telemetry readings are essential.

Attention to detail and effective communication with interdisciplinary teams are crucial.

Must be able to manage a variety of medical procedures comfortably and efficiently.

All candidates should be prepared to uphold patient safety and quality care standards.
