Responsibilities Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care setting Standard ER patient population including trauma, psych, and occasional OB cases 2 trauma rooms and 11 exam rooms, 4 used for fast track cases Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 : 4 Night shift : 12-hour shifts, three per week, every other weekend required Floating required across ED and inpatient units as needed Cerner Millennium EMR is used in the unit Charge RN experience is preferred Provide care for a range of emergencies including trauma, psychiatric, and special populations Team includes 24 / 7 ER physician, PA coverage, nurse aides, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy support ER nurses may assist in deliveries and care for patients under psych holds or transfers Weekend and holiday rotation is required based on staff schedule Scrubs are provided Orientation consists of 2-3 unit-specific shifts Requirements Active WA or compact RN license required Minimum of 2 years' recent ER experience Current certifications required : BLS, ACLS, ENPC or PALS, TNCC Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips Ventilator experience required before transport to ICU Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-623105.
