Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg / Telemetry (Float)

Location : Auburn, NY

Assignment Length : 13 Weeks

Start Date : ASAP Shift : Nights | 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM | Every Other Weekend & Holiday Required

Position Summary :

HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Med Surg / Telemetry RN for a travel assignment in Auburn, NY. This role is a float position and requires flexibility to float to various units as needed in a 90-bed community hospital.

Responsibilities :

Provide safe and effective patient care across med / surg and telemetry units

Interpret and monitor telemetry strips independently

Perform IV therapy (facility does not have IV team)

Conduct patient assessments, medication administration, and documentation in Paragon EMR

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team

Must complete proctored EKG exam on Day 1 of contract

Requirements :

Active New York State RN License – Required

BLS and ACLS certification – Required

NIHSS certification + 6 CEUs in Stroke-related topics – Required prior to start

2 years Med Surg / Tele experience – Required

Travel RN experience – Preferred

Must be able to float as needed

Strong IV and EKG interpretation skills

Unit & Facility Details :

Community hospital | 90 beds

Patient ratio : RN 1 : 6–7

Schedule : 13 weeks

Nights | 12-hour shifts

Every other weekend & holiday required
