Our Structural Bridge Team and Projects At Tighe & Bond, our bridge engineering team brings decades of experience in delivering innovative, resilient, and community-focused infrastructure across the Northeast. Specializing in the design, permitting, and construction support of a wide range of bridge projects—including vehicular bridges, pedestrian crossings, culverts, and complex structural rehabilitations—we collaborate closely with state DOTs, municipalities, and private clients to meet evolving transportation and environmental needs.

Responsibilities, Requirements, and Total Rewards

What You'll Be Doing As a valuable part of our Structural Bridge Team , an Entry Level Staff Engineer will support a variety of projects and gain hands-on experience with responsibilities such as :

• Design, evaluate, and inspect new and existing bridges and support structures
• Support the preparation of plans, technical specifications, cost estimates, and reports
• Conduct field visits to observe construction, gather data, and assist with as-builts and record drawings
• Help review shop drawings and submittals, and respond to contractor questions
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver coordinated and constructible designs
