Lateral Litigation Attorney

Flaherty Sensabaugh Bonasso PLLC is an experienced firm with a strong focus on high-stakes, complex litigation. We are currently seeking a full-time Lateral Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic team located in our Charleston, WV office. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of success handling complex litigation from inception to resolution. We are looking for a self-starter who can manage a diverse caseload, collaborate effectively with a team, and bring a sophisticated understanding of litigation strategy to serve our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Case management : Independently handle all aspects of litigation, including pre-suit investigation, discovery, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, and trial.
• Drafting legal documents : Prepare and review complex legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
• Court appearances : Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and trials, presenting arguments persuasively.
• Legal research : Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Client relations : Communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel, providing sound legal advice and regular case updates.
• Business development : Contribute to the firm's growth through existing and new client relationships.
