Job Summary

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) , you will play a vital role in providing professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long-term care settings. Under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician, you will :

Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents.

Contribute to resident assessments and administer medications or treatments as ordered.

Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care.

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with residents, healthcare providers, and the public.

Communicate clearly while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.

Counsel residents and family members on prevention and treatment plans.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should have :

Graduated from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse; an Associate degree is preferred.

If required, IV therapy / management skills as per North Dakota regulations.

A minimum of 400 hours of experience as an LPN at another facility, or supervised clinical experience across the lifespan.

An unencumbered LPN license with the State Nursing Board and / or multi-state licensure privileges.

Completion of required annual continuing education units (CEUs) and competency training.
