Job Description

Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager

Location : Nassau County, NY

Work Schedule : Full-Time | Hybrid Flexibility

Compensation : $75,000 to $100,000 base salary (commensurate with experience)

Our client, a rapidly growing national insurance brokerage is seeking a Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager to join their expanding Nassau County office. This opportunity is open due to growth—business is booming, and they're looking for the right team player to help support their continued success.

Key Responsibilities

Process and issue Certificates of Insurance in a timely manner
Handle endorsement and policy change requests
Submit loss run requests and manage follow-up communications
Assist in preparing insurance recommendations and summaries
Maintain and update client records within Applied EPIC
Perform administrative tasks with strong attention to detail, especially in Excel
Support Account Managers on large, complex accounts, particularly in real estate (a plus!)

Ideal Candidate Will Have

Prior experience in a Commercial Lines insurance agency

Exposure to large accounts, particularly real estate risks, is highly preferred

Proficiency in Applied EPIC and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Strong organizational skills and a team-player attitude

Excellent communication skills and a commitment to client service

Active P&C license is a plus
