Tresco is seeking a reliable and skilled Grounds Maintenance Worker to help maintain rest areas and grounds in the Deming area. This role is hands-on and outdoors, ensuring that our sites are safe, clean, and welcoming for the public.

Perform routine grounds maintenance according to contract standards.

Operate tractors, mowers, and landscaping equipment.

Repair / replace irrigation systems, Rain Bird valves, pipes, and wiring.

Trim and maintain desert landscaping in a neat, clean manner.

Provide weed control and maintain septic tanks, leach lines, and shelter grounds.

Repair and maintain fences, posts, and cables.

Service equipment (lubrication, fluid checks, maintenance).

Clear snow / ice from walkways when needed.

Assist repair technicians and custodial staff as assigned.

Respond to public needs in a courteous and professional manner.

Education : High School Diploma or GED.

Experience : 3+ years in grounds maintenance, irrigation systems, and equipment operation.

License : Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.

Skills & Abilities :

Comfortable with physically demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions.

Ability to operate mowers, edgers, blowers, chainsaws, and other landscaping equipment.

Work independently or as part of a team.

Adaptable to changing priorities.
