Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst in Cartersville, GA. In this high-impact and growth-focused role, you will be responsible for leading month-end close processes, delivering key financial insights, and supporting cross-functional operations to drive business performance. In a Senior Financial Analyst job you’ll be responsible for :

Leading monthly financial close processes (excluding inventory).
Preparing and posting journal entries (accruals, revenue, payroll, fixed assets, etc.).
Performing balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
Analyzing revenue trends and KPIs across products, channels, and customers.
Partnering with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service to improve processes.
Supporting audits and assisting with forecasting and budgeting.
Driving process improvements and supporting system enhancements.

What you’ll need :

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA, CMA, or MBA a plus)

2+ years of relevant experience (manufacturing or distribution environment preferred).

Strong knowledge of GAAP and core accounting principles.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems like Dynamics 365, Great Plains, or Syspro is a plus.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to manage deadlines and deliver accurate reporting.

Perks :

Competitive salary : $110,000–$120,000 / year, based on experience.

Work schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m.
