Archive Outreach Coordinator – Minnesota Music Archive

Help preserve and promote Minnesota’s rich musical heritage! The Minnesota Music Archive is looking for passionate individuals to support our outreach efforts and expand our collection of local recordings and stories.

Key Responsibilities :

Reach out to local artists, record labels, writers, reviewers, and scene-makers via email, social media, and other digital channels

Introduce the Archive and encourage contributions of released recordings

Complete submission forms and secure streaming rights agreements

Promote Discogs updates for artist releases and genealogies

Assist with return logistics for non-accepted submissions

Follow up on submissions that don’t meet format requirements

Coordinate with the Archive Committee to align outreach efforts

Track and report contact activities to avoid duplication

What We’re Looking For :

Strong knowledge and passion for Minnesota’s music scene

Familiarity with DEMO’s history and community role

Understanding of the Minnesota Music Archive’s mission and content

Willingness to initiate cold outreach and build new connections
