Job Description

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Lodi, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food / Beverage, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic food and beverage location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with staff and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining clear communication. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns within the food and beverage production environment.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and / or vendors as needed while performing patrol duties.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as part of daily responsibilities.
  • Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations by following established protocols and procedures.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid guard card or license is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
