Painter

We are seeking a skilled painter to join our team, responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing colors, and applying finishes to a variety of surfaces. Candidates must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors.

Shift

The shift is 11pm - 7 : 30am Tuesday - Saturday.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, removing old paint, and using fillers to repair cracks or holes.
  • Mix and match paints, stains, and other finishes to achieve the desired color and texture for projects.
  • Apply finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray guns on walls, ceilings, furniture, and other surfaces.
  • Manage site by covering surrounding objects and furniture to prevent messes, measuring work areas, and cleaning up tools and supplies after projects.
  • Collaborate with clients to meet project requirements and coordinate with other construction professionals such as electricians and plumbers.

Essential Skills

  • 4+ years of maintenance painting experience.
  • Expertise in surface preparation, color mixing, and finish application.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients and other construction professionals.
  • Experience in commercial painting, particularly in non-residential buildings like offices and warehouses.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance, parking garage maintenance, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
  • Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00 / hr.
