About the Role

As aSolutions Engineer within BGSs Energy Division,youllhelp shape the future of how critical pipeline infrastructure ismonitored, protected, andoptimizedthrough data, AI, and aerial intelligence.

OurPipeline Intelligence Suitebrings together aerial imagery, LiDAR, and proprietary AI detection to give operators real-time visibility across thousands of miles of right-of-way. Your role is to ensure that our technologydoesntjust work itcreatesmeasurableimpactfor the operators who depend on it daily.

This position is part technical, part product, part customer success and 100% hands-on.Youllserve as theclient-facing technical ownerfor some of the largest energy operators in North America, guiding them from onboarding through deployment and integration. Inside BGS,youllact as the bridge to our engineering and AI teams shaping how our tools evolve based on real-world operator feedback and use cases.

WhatYoullDo

  • Own client success for BGSsPipeline Intelligence Suite, ensuring smooth adoption and measurable results.
  • Translate field challenges and operational goals into clear, actionable requirements forour engineeringand AI teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally todesign, deploy, and iterate AI-powered solutions thattransform aerial and geospatial data into predictive insights.
  • Lead technical onboarding, training, and proof-of-concept engagements with pipeline and energy operators.
  • Identifyopportunities to applyAI agents, workflow automation, and intelligent data pipelinesboth tocustomer operations and internal BGS processes.
  • Work with multi-modal data (imagery, LiDAR, detection, and field reports) to deliver clear, actionable intelligence dashboards.
  • Test andvalidateMVPs in live operational environments providing rapid feedback to drive iteration.
  • Document learnings and success stories that shape the future roadmap of the Pipeline Intelligence Suite.

WhatWereLooking For

  • 37 years of experience inenergy technology, geospatial analytics, or software solutions engineering.
  • Proventrack recordleveragingAI-first workflows orautomation tools to improve processes and decision-making.
  • ProficiencywithGIS systems (ESRI, QGIS) andexperience working withremote sensing or LiDAR data.
  • Familiarity withPython, SQL, or other scripting / automation tools fordata handling and workflow development.
  • Excellent communication skills comfortable interfacing with operators, engineers, and executives alike.
  • High adaptability and ownership mentality; you thrive in fast-moving, startup-like environments.
  • Bonus : hands-on experience integratingAI agents,machine-learning models, orpredictive analytics intoreal-worldoperations.
