  • The Role
  • We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sr. Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting the development of next-generation tools for SCADA and database conversion systems in Digital Grid Management. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in software engineering, DevOps practices, and user-centric design to help us build scalable, intuitive, and high-performance tools that support operational excellence and strategic decision-making.##
  • Your Impact
  • Oversee the development of custom applications and automation scripts that streamline work segments for Project Delivery Services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—Engineering Standards, Project Engineering, Power Systems Engineering and R&D—to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Promote the creation of clear technical documentation, process flowcharts, and visual aids to support internal training and stakeholder communication.
  • Continuously improve tool accuracy, monitoring, and automation to reduce manual work and enhance service delivery.
  • Drive the implementation and optimization of CI / CD pipelines and DevOps workflows to support secure, compliant, and reliable software delivery in regulated environments.
  • Measure the impact of tooling initiatives through KPIs and user feedback, and regularly present findings to stakeholders to inform strategic decisions and demonstrate business value.
  • Track team assignments and capacity, performing supply / demand analysis to ensure optimal resource allocation and alignment with project priorities.## What You'll Need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years technical management or leadership experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with object-oriented programming (e.g., Python, Java, C++, C#).
  • 5+ years of experience with web-based programming (JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
  • Proven experience with data parsing and transformation (XML, JSON, CSV, text files).
  • Experience in user interface design and adapting to user feedback.
  • Experience with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Docker, Jenkins, Git, CI / CD pipelines).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent time management and ability to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in technical communication, including flowcharts and visual documentation.
  • Experience and knowledge of PowerBI reports and workflows.
  • Experience with SCADA systems or industrial automation platforms preferred.
  • Familiarity with data visualization libraries preferred.
  • Understanding of performance optimization techniques for large-scale data systems preferred.
  • Familiarity with Power Systems preferred.
