Electrical Engineering Production Laboratory Technician

Overview :

SimVentions is looking for a highly skilled Electrical Engineering Technician capable of independently running an Electronics and Printed Circuit Board production and prototype facility for engineering development and low rate production efforts.  You will work closely with a highly disciplined engineering team supporting quick turn precision projects.  Projects involve innovative and novel integrations of electrical components and development of specialized PCBs.  Must have a high level of attention to detail and ability to run a diverse set of machines / equipment.

This position is located on Dahlgren Naval Base, running an electronic production / prototyping laboratory. This requires on base presence.

A Secret Clearance is required to start with the ability to be eligible for a TS / SCI clearance.

Travel : None Clearance :

An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required for this position.  However, TS / SCI is preferred. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.  Ability to upgrade to a TS / SCI clearance is required within a year of starting.

Requirements :

• Minimum of 4 years experience as a skilled electrical engineering technician
• Demonstrated experience operating four or more of the following manufacturing equipment :

solder stencil printers

Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.

The projected annual compensation range for this position is $70,000 - $120,000 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
