Special Care Nursery - Labor and Delivery Nights

  • Option of 36 or 48hrs
  • must be able to couplet well babies, manage labor patient and we also circulate our own cesarean section.

Patient Diagnosis : TTN

Hypoglycemia

R / O sepsis

Respiratory distress

Term Newborn

Unit Details :

Will assist Pediatrician in LP procedure, circumcision, UVC insertion, intubation, and stabilization. Most Newborn will room in with parents as we provide couplet care. Neonates requiring IV antibiotics, IV glucose support, and respiratory support will remain in the nursery with parents able to come in and stay with them.

Certifications Required : BLS, NRP

Certifications Preferred : PALS

1 Year of previous experience required

First time travelers welcome!

Epic documentation system

Scrubs : Provided ( Any color purple or may wear their navy blue OR scrubs)

scheduling will be done to fit the needs of the unit, and may require nurses to work to cover holes in the schedule.
