Abeloff Auto Group is looking for a candidate with a strong desire to learn and grow within our parts and service team. The Automotive Parts Counter Associate is responsible for assisting customers and technicians in finding the appropriate parts for each vehicle. They work with customers, technicians and our sales team to find accessories and order parts for repairs and upgrades to vehicles. Compensation will depend on experience.

Duties of the position include :
Check-in parts and properly inventory and store themDistribute parts to service techniciansServe as backup to stocking clerk as necessaryOversee the parts sales process from customer inquiry to finding the part to invoicing the customerWork with parts manager to locate any parts not in stockComplete special order part request for any parts that need to be ordered for the customerCommunicate with customer on the status of any parts ordered and notify them upon delivery to the dealershipCommunicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional mannerUnderstand and follow federal, state, and local regulations applicable to industryAble to lift 50 pounds or more regularlyPerform other duties as assignedQualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent requiredExperience with auto parts sales preferredPeople-focused and with great customer service skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational and time management skillsProfessional appearance and strong work ethicProficiency with computer skills is preferredValid and current driver's license with the ability to maintain a good driving recordAbility to pass a drug screening and background check
