An Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician provides comprehensive care for women's reproductive health, conducting appointments in a clinic and managing in-patient deliveries. The position requires attending an average of 25 patients daily and performing approximately 40-45 deliveries per month, with an expectation of shared call responsibilities. Ideal candidates should be board certified or eligible and hold an active New Mexico medical license.

Location : Alamogordo, NM

Duration : As soon as credentialed and ongoing until Perm is hired

Schedule : Monday Friday, 8a-5p with call, one week per month

Shift : 2-4 weeks per month, ideal candidate is fulltime

Call : 1 in 4, 1 weekend per month + 1 week per month. About 4-5 calls per 24 hour shift.

Patient volume : Clinic avg : 25 patients

call back avg per 24 hour shift : 1-2. 40-45 deliveries per month. Patients will be unassigned and assigned patients as this OB group is the only group covering call at GCRMC

Scope : Clinic + call, +inpatient privileges

EMR : Hospital is on Cerner, Clinic is Athena

Hospital :

Group / support : no midwives, 3 OBGYN s, 1 GYN only, no APP s

Requirements (boards, license) : Must be Certified or truly board eligible, must be comfortable with Clinic + call. They will not look at just clinic vs laborist. Active NM license.
