Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Nuclear Medicine Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 10 / 18 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Title : Nuclear Medicine Technologist Location : Jamaica, NY Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 9 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM, Monday to Friday Job Responsibilities : Perform Nuclear Medicine Technology procedures in a hospital radiology diagnostic department. Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment to produce high-quality imaging studies. Work closely with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure accurate diagnostic results. Administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patients during procedures. Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and state / federal regulations. Provide patient care across diverse populations while ensuring comfort and safety. Required : Minimum of 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technology experience. Completion of an appropriate training program for Radiologic Technologist (including Military Training). Certification and registration in Nuclear Medicine by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Valid New York State DOH license as Radiology Tech with Injection. Valid New York State DOH license as Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Relevant equipment experience. BLS certification (American Heart Association).
