Senior Project Manager

The PM is responsible for leading and managing the cost, schedule, scope, quality, risk, and performance through agile software development executed from our Boulder, CO office. Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Execution : Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources allocation, and risk management strategies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Change Management : Communicate and manage potential and contractual impacts to scope, schedule, and financials through proactive communication and collaborative change impact analysis.
- Team & Stakeholder Management : Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, while managing relationships and expectations with customers and stakeholders.
- Technical Oversight : Support technical leads with the management of requirements and roadmap development.
- Reporting & Communication : Prepare regular project status reports and present findings to senior management and other stakeholders, clearly translating complex technical data to understandable language.
- Process Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvements, implement new technologies, and drive innovation within project management operations.
- Industry and Growth : Apply industry and project knowledge to build and maintain a 1-n opportunities list for growth potential, coordinate with senior leadership and customers to recommend opportunities for scope expansion.
- Agile; Perform Scrum Master role for agile software development team.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline with 8 years of professional experience6+ years defense industry experience as a project manager or deputy project manager in software development6+ years financial management experienceAbility to obtain and maintain an active DoD Final SECRET clearance or higherExperience with Agile software development methodologyExcellent written communication, briefing, and presentation skillsDetail orientedCandidates who have one or more of the following skills will be preferred
