A leading global medical technology organization is seeking a highly motivated HEOR Research Scientist (contract role) to support scientific publications, data analysis, and evidence generation activities across the Americas region. The position involves analyzing large healthcare databases, interpreting findings, and communicating results through manuscripts, abstracts, and internal presentations to cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement HEOR research strategies supporting product value propositions.
- Design and conduct real-world evidence (RWE) studies, including protocol development, SAP creation, and statistical analysis.
- Analyze large healthcare datasets (claims, EMRs, hospital discharge, registry) using tools such as R, Python, SQL, or SAS.
- Conduct literature reviews and synthesize outcomes and economic evidence.
- Present findings via congress abstracts, manuscripts, and internal presentations.
- Collaborate with global market access, clinical affairs, marketing, and publications teams to align on data-driven insights.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Build relationships with key opinion leaders (physicians, payers, policy makers) to communicate value messages.
Qualifications :
Masters degree in Health Outcomes, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or related field (PhD preferred).2+ years of experience analyzing real-world healthcare data; 4+ years preferred.Strong proficiency in statistical programming (R, Python, SQL, SAS).Experience with health economic modeling, RWE study design, and publication development.Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, global, cross-functional environment.
