Stroke / Heart Attack Quality Coordinator
Job Summary
Assumes responsibility for the multidisciplinary quality care and performance improvement activities required to maintain desired Heart Attack and Stroke program designations, certifications, and accreditations for Hendrick Health . Provides training, defines methodologies, directs the collection and analysis of data and facilitates development of and support for best practices and evidence-based medicine in collaboration with the Manager and Director.
Responsible for and overseeing committees and teams to address performance improvement initiatives for the organization. Leads work groups and executes projects and tasks related to performance improvement across all areas of stroke and heart attack care.
Job Requirements
Minimum Education
- Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing - Registered Nurse
Minimum Work Experience
3 years clinical nursing experienceAt least 2 years experience nursing in a cardiology / cardiovascular, neuro / neurovascular, progressive care, critical care, emergency or similar service line.Required Licenses / Certifications
