Cost Controls Specialist (Fort Worth)

Position Overview :

The PROCEDEO Group is seeking a Cost Controls Specialist to support our client in Fort Worth, Texas. This position is also based in Fort Worth, TX. This in office role will play a key part in managing and overseeing project financials for the construction and design teams ensuring budgets, expenditures, and cost reporting remain accurate, transparent, and aligned with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist with tracking project costs

Process pay applications

Review and route invoices

Maintain detailed financial documentation throughout each phase of the project

Prepare cost reports

Monitor budget variances

Support forecasting efforts

Collaborate closely with project managers, accountants, and design / construction managers to maintain fiscal accuracy and accountability.

Support and lead project closeout processes, ensuring all required documentation is properly submitted, tracked, and archived in accordance with company and client standards.

Qualifications :

Strong organizational and communication skills both written and verbal

Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities

Experience in construction project administration or cost controls

Knowledge of construction documentation and contract management

Familiarity with document management systems (e.g., Egnyte)

Must possess the highest level of integrity and a positive attitude

Experience with Procore, Bluebeam and / or Docusign is a plus!

Must work well in a team environment and be committed to client service

A valid Drivers License
