Qualified candidates must be able to work an on-site schedule at our Stevens Point, WI facility.

Role Responsibilities :

• Manage APD Platform and Derivative Releases.
• Manage the planning and deployment of resources necessary to support the on-time release of volume production for assigned new product development programs, while achieving targeted quality, cost, and design for manufacturability objectives.
• Validate and sign off on related Tollgates.
• Creating APD workflows, routes, and structures for raw materials and BOMs.
• Oversee manufacturing readiness reviews for new product introductions.
• Responsible for APD process training (team members and any other necessary individuals).
• Oversee Prototype Department.
• Create and manage prototype orders through the plant to ensure products are meeting expectations and customer requirements.
• Work closely with manufacturing to ensure that the plant provides the required support and resources for new products and processes.
• Manage the Administrative aspects.
• Develop and Complete Cost Estimate Requests and APD Costing requirements.
• Act as the Voice of Manufacturing.
• Create and monitor targets and goals for APD team.
• Coordinates and maintains fiscal budgets (i.e. capital budgets, labor plans, department budget).
• Be a proponent for safety in the facility as a part of daily activities. Lead by example.
• Establish baselines of current processes by defining / establishing standard work instructions.
• Oversees cost reduction and sustainability activities and tracks and approves projects.
• Research and prepares the necessary CER's for the facility.
