CGS is seeking a Senior Financial Investigator to join our team providing legal support and investigative services to a large federal agency. • Planning and conducting investigations.
• Performing quantitative, qualitative, or other analysis of relevant facts.
• Preparing results to support the mission.
• Developing and analyzing evidence from other sources.
• Gathering and analyzing facts to advance prosecutorial objectives.
• Establishing and verifying relationships among all facts and evidence.
• Providing analysis relevant to violations of federal law.
• Conducting asset investigations, verifying employment, and conducting financial analysis.
• Developing understanding of applicable federal, state, or local law.
• Devising methods for obtaining, preserving, and presenting evidence.
• Working with the assigned paralegals or legal assistants, and supervisory attorneys.
• Performing a variety of ancillary services in direct support of assigned cases and matters.
• Using electronic databases to identify assets, documents, and other physical evidence.
• Preparing interim and final reports on the progress of investigations.
• Assisting in the compilation and analysis of documents and physical evidence.
• Preparing affidavits and testifying in court as required.
• Examining books, ledgers, payroll records, cost reports, billing statements, invoices, correspondence, and other records pertaining to the transactions, events, or allegations under investigation.
