A company is looking for a Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist - Remote.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct daily, concurrent reviews of inpatient records to ensure accurate physician documentation for compliant coding
Perform initial code assignment for working DRG and complete CDI software data entry for case reviews
Initiate compliant physician queries for unclear or missing documentation and follow up for responses
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
One of the following : RN, MD, or MD Equivalent (MBBS)
4 years' experience in direct patient care in inpatient settings
2+ years of prior CDI experience
Familiarity with encoder and DRG assignment
