CNA Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform all duties as per SC Department of Public Health (DPH)
  • Promote a cordial environment for residents, families, visitors and other co-workers; assist in maintaining a "home-like" environment
  • Assist residents with ADLs and answer call lights
  • Follow the residents care plan or service plan as an instruction guide for how to take care of that resident
  • Report changes in residents' condition to the nurse in change and maintain communication with the families of residents
  • Complete required documentation in accordance with community policies and state and / or federal regulations
  • Maintain residents' living area by ensuring that it is clean, neat and orderly, and in DPH compliance
  • Comply with all safety and sanitary standards, rules and regulations
  • Required to work weekends, holidays and per resident needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned

    Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Certified Nursing Assistant
  • CPR Certification
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant
