Responsibilities
- Always maintain safety standards while transporting employees to their designated area
- Ensure that the vehicle meets all safety requirements and is up to date with the maintenance schedule
- Follow all traffic signs / laws and maintain posted speed limits
- Ensure all passengers are authorized to board the Shuttle
- Maintain a set schedule to ensure delays are at a minimum
- Ensure each passenger has a positive experience
- Ensure all issues get resolved in a timely manner
- Always Extend the Exceptional Care philosophy
- Inform and relay all necessary information in a clear and concise, professional way to Managers and passengers, whether in person or via the Shuttle radio
Qualifications
Years of Experience : 6 Months Professional DrivingLanguage Skills : Proficient in English both verbally and writtenEducation Requirements : High School Diploma / GEDLicenses required : CDL class A, B, or C WITH Passenger EndorsementCertificates required : Updated Medical Certificate; DPU CertificationPossess the manual ability to operate a Shuttle bus safelyCurrently holds a valid Driver's License in state of residencyStrong sense of customer serviceAbility to lift a minimum of 50 poundsBe at least 18 years of ageBe able and willing to smile during every customer interaction with passengersMaintain uniform standards while around the accountPass a criminal background check and drug testDriving record must meet company standardsAbility to successfully pass company issued driving testAbility to create relationships with customersTime management & problem-solving skillsVPNE is an equal opportunity at will employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of age, race, religion, color, disability, sex, sexual orientation or national origin.
