The MME-PMO Project Managers, including the Project Management Services Vendor Project Managers, are primarily responsible for the overall success of the solution implementation projects and achieving the goals and objectives as stated in this SOW.
The Project Management Services Vendor staff in this job classification will be tasked with :
- Managing, collaborating, and coordinating execution of solution implementation projects with the State-employed Project Managers and solution vendors.
- Working to create a positive and productive environment for all project team members and stakeholders that values cooperation, teamwork, and planning.
- Ensuring effective and timely communications and sharing of information.
- Coordinating closely with other Project Managers across all projects.
- Gathering team member updates.
- Assessing the projects health.
- Drafting the weekly project status reports.
- Facilitating weekly project status meetings.
- Finalizing and submitting weekly project status reports.
- Identifying potential risks and / or issues.
- Facilitating risk and issue meetings.
- Evaluating and escalating issues through appropriate internal project managers.
- Initiating appropriate and timely project communication across project teams.
- Managing access requests for their staff through designated State Privacy and Security Officer.
- Performing other tasks as necessary to meet the goals and objectives stated in this SOW.
Project Managers working directly with the State-employed Project Managers focused on the PBA and PA solutions as part of the MME-PMO for the duration of the projects.
Mandatory :
4+ years of experience coordinating or managing Medicaid IT Projects such as a major system enhancement to an MMIS or implementation of an MMIS system
5+ years of experience in project management.
PMP certification is required.
