Senior Electrical Engineer - Healthcare Buildings

Responsibilities
- Lead the design and review of electrical systems for complex healthcare facilities projects.
- Serve as a technical specialist, applying advanced electrical engineering concepts to address the unique challenges of healthcare environments.
- Perform QA / QC and ensure that electrical designs meet project objectives and regulatory standards.
- Conduct research to inform innovative design solutions that improve patient care and operational efficiency.
- Advise and direct staff on electrical design approaches to meet project requirements and client expectations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall project designs.
- Contribute to the development of standards and guidelines for electrical engineering activities within the team.
- Mentor and supervise less experienced staff, providing guidance on technical assignments and career development.
Qualifications
Strong communication skills.Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team.Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license.At least 8 years of electrical engineering experience with increasing responsibility, preferably in healthcare facilities design.Healthcare-related certifications, such as Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) or Healthcare Physical Environment Worker, are a plus.Membership in a state or national chapter of the American Society of Healthcare Engineers (ASHE) or equivalent is advantageous. Experience with National Codes / Standards development and participation in relevant committees is highly preferred.Demonstrated expertise in leading complex electrical design projects and providing technical leadership within a team.Enthusiasm for contributing to the healthcare industry through innovative and dependable electrical engineering solutions.Benefits
