Role : Senior Estimator - Luxury Residential Construction

Salary : $120,000-$160,000 +Benefits

Location : Naples, Florida

Our client is a premier builder of world-class, multi-million-dollar custom residences, known for delivering the highest levels of craftsmanship, innovation, and service. With a strong presence in the Naples luxury market, they are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to play a critical role in the pre-construction phase of their exclusive residential projects.

Position Overview :

As the Senior Estimator, you will lead the estimating efforts for ultra-high-end custom homes, typically valued at $15M and above. This role requires deep knowledge of high-end residential construction, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to produce accurate, comprehensive estimates that align with both design intent and budget expectations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead all estimating functions for new and existing luxury home projects, from concept through final bid.
  • Analyze architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and related documents to prepare detailed cost estimates.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, designers, and subcontractors to ensure all project requirements are accurately captured.
  • Develop clear, detailed scope of work and pricing breakdowns across all trades and materials.
  • Manage the bidding process, including sourcing, soliciting, and negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Assist in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or design intent.
  • Present estimates and budgets to clients and internal teams with clarity and confidence.
  • Maintain current knowledge of market pricing, material costs, labor rates, and industry trends specific to Southwest Florida.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as an Estimator in high-end custom residential construction, ideally with projects valued at $10M–$20M+.
  • Strong understanding of construction systems, luxury materials, and methods used in bespoke residential builds.
  • Proficiency with estimating software (such as BlueBeam, Sage Estimating, Buildertrend, or equivalent).
  • Excellent mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex architectural drawings and specifications.
  • Effective communicator and collaborator, with a client-focused mindset.
  • Familiarity with Naples and Collier County construction regulations and permitting processes is strongly preferred.
